The story of Stone Soup originated in Europe and has many versions. A stone and water were the base, and everyone gathered around the kettle contributed something while it simmered: a little spice, a bit of their own harvest, their talent. People shared stories, songs and sometimes dance, and at the end of the evening everyone enjoyed a delicious meal together. The moral, from our perspective: we are all Better Together, and we all have something to contribute.
